• Flynn Testifies at Little Hoover Commission on Governor’s Re-Org Plan; Calls it the Looming Threat to State IT Investment

    Your TechLeader.TV host held nothing back as he testified on April 24, 2012 before the Little Hoover Commission, California’s “good Government”,  independent state oversight agency that was created a half century ago. The Commission’s mission is to investigate state government operations and – through reports, recommendations and legislative proposals – promote efficiency, economy and improved service. By statute it also evaluates and reviews any Governor’s re-organization plan. I was asked by the Commission to assess Governor Jerry Brown’s plan to downgrade the California Technology Agency, removing it from the Cabinet and consolidating it along with General Services, Human Resources, Administrative Law and other “administrative services” function under a new Operations Agency.
